Our Midlothian community came out in force to support our Mustang's matchup against Crenshaw. Although Crenshaw proved to be formative on the field, our student athletes played hard, with passion and for a good cause.
The highlight of the afternoon was the hot pink socks our athletes wore to show solidarity in spotlighting Breast Cancer Awareness month. MAA Football Director, Emily Parnell, wanted to do something special to highlight the 300,000 plus diagnoses projected for 2024. There are more than four million women with a history of breast cancer in the United States.

Homecoming night was a celebration to remember. The anticipated rain storm never made its arrival. This gave way to a fun-filled time of special awards, good music, Candela's pizza with lots of pictures for timeless memories. Our team colors, custom posters and Mustang pride was on full display for our Homecoming parade.
The tunnel reveal was an unexpected but deserving surprise for our football athletes. Lindsey Davis, Fundraising Director and Abe Miller, Director of Concessions, with our Board of Directors and our entire association membership, gave the distinguished honor of cutting the ribbon to our MAA President, Chad Meads. He's been with the association for over 20 years!
It was a very memorable time we won't soon forget. Thank you to our amazing Football Director, Emily Parnell and Ryan Parnell for their extraordinary leadership and commitment to our football division. Thanks to all of our members and volunteers who made this night the perfect night for our deserving student athletes.
